Our Doctors
Matthew Clark, O.D.
Dr. Clark grew up in Fishers and graduated from Lawrence Central High School in 2006. He received a B.S. and an M.S. in Biology from Purdue University before heading to Indiana University for his Doctorate of Optometry. Following graduation from IU Optometry in 2015, he was the head clinician at the LASIK Vision Institute in Carmel. He now practices full-time at Carmel Eyecare, while spending a few days each month here at Zionsville Eyecare.
Dr. Clark strives to provide thorough ocular care and education to all of his patients. He offers primary care, ocular emergency and disease management, and contact lens services.
He resides in Westfield with his wife, and former Zionsville Eyecare optician, Katie. They have two young children, Lawson and Brenna.
Nicholas Garn, O.D.
Dr. Garn, a Columbus, IN, native, is the owner of Carmel Eyecare and Zionsville Eyecare. He holds a B.S. in Biology and a Business Foundations Certificate from Indiana University, followed by graduate studies in Biology at IUPUI.
After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 2006, Dr. Garn developed a focus on pediatric vision development and ocular disease. He has played vital roles serving through all the executive ranks for the Central Indiana Optometric Society before serving Indiana Optometry as the first liaison to the Indiana University School of Optometry and later the state convention chairman. Most recently Dr. Garn finished a four-year role as the central trustee for Indiana Optometry. Dr. Garn is a recognized industry speaker and a regular participant in exclusive professional events. He has been honored with numerous awards including Indiana’s Young OD of the Year and most recently Boone County’s Empowering Leader of the Year.
Dr. Garn resides in Zionsville with his high school sweetheart, Laura. They have three children, Sawyer, Emmett, and August, and a precocious Bernie-doodle, Sasha. He serves as a sound technician and former trustee at Freedom Church where he has taught Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace and Legacy courses. Dr. Garn's dedication to his patients and community remains unwavering.
Meret Thomas-Huebner, O.D.
Dr. Meret Thomas-Huebner grew up in the Evansville, Indiana area. She graduated from Castle High School and attended Indiana University, where she received her B.A. in Anthropology. She stayed in Bloomington to attend Indiana University School of Optometry.
During optometry school, she became involved with Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and helped to organize an IUSO build day with Habitat for Humanity. After graduating Dr. Thomas-Huebner moved to Indianapolis to complete a primary care residency. During her residency, she developed a special interest in treating dry eye disease.
Dr. Thomas-Huebner enjoys cooking, is a new gardener, and is looking forward to connecting with the Boone County Habitat for Humanity.
